Rebel Fury - English Edition

Rebel Fury, Volume I of the Civil War Heritage series, adopts the low-complexity Gettysburg system introduced in C3i #32. Battles included are Chickamauga, Chattanooga, Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Chancellorsville, and Fredericksburg (single player).

Fast and Interactive Gaming Experience

This design introduces a Civil War combat system similar to the old SPI Blue and Gray Quads. Each game in Rebel Fury features quick setup, fast gameplay, and deep interaction. The low density of tokens in each scenario allows you to see and experience the battle in all its complexity.

Role of the Army Commander

In Rebel Fury, players take on the role of an Army Commander (Lee, Burnside, Hooker, Bragg, Rosecrans, Grant). You will need to maneuver your army to find the enemy's flanks, concentrate your forces for an attack, and decide where to deploy artillery resources.

Units and Game Mechanics Detail

Units are represented at the infantry/cavalry division level. The Civil War Heritage game system introduces a new Zone of Influence/Zone of Control mechanic that manages the formation of units (March/Battle) based on their proximity to the opponent. As your units get closer to the enemy, the forces naturally form into battle formation, ready to make the final leg of the engagement.

Unlike most hex and marker based wargames, this system allows you to move units in any order multiple times, unlocking the full range of historical tactics in a simple and clear format.
